Our Current Leather
Cow Hide Leather
Currently we exclusively use cow hide leather.
Leather Thickness
All of the leather we use is between 1.8 - 2.0mm thick. Withing the range of 4.5/5oz.
Does it Patina?

Full-Grain Pull-Up Leather and how the Patina Develops
We use premium full-grain pull-up, oil-tanned leather chosen for its exceptional quality, durability, and distinctive character. Unlike corrected or heavily processed leathers, full-grain leather retains the natural grain and unique markings of the hide, allowing every piece to tell its own story.
Our pull-up leather is richly infused with oils and waxes, creating a supple feel and a beautifully deep finish. As the leather bends, stretches, or is gently scratched, the oils shift beneath the surface, creating subtle variations in color and revealing the natural depth of the hide. These characteristics are not imperfections—they are what make pull-up leather unique.
With time and use, the leather develops a rich, personalized patina, becoming softer, deeper in color, and even more distinctive. Every mark and variation adds character, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.

Do you use Vegetable Tanned Leather?
Currently we do not use any vegetable tanned leather. Everything on our site is was we call “The Regulars” these items will always be available although the type of leather will change over time as we grow and evolve as a company.
Having said that, we are diligently working on our first seasonal collection and will be offering the items in vegetable tanned leather from Wickett and Craig which is one of the only two remaining vegetable tanneries in the USA.
Shipping & Processing Time
We currently only ship within the USA and some areas in Canada. We are hoping to expand to other areas soon!
We are a husband and wife team and we hand-make every item on our website. Due to the customization factor and our attention to detail our processing time is 1-2 weeks - thank you for your patience as we create a one of a kind piece just for you.
Why do the Bibles change?
To keep our Traveler Bibles affordable, we continually monitor the prices of the compact Bibles we offer. When we find a more affordable option, we update our website accordingly.
Please note that the Bible shown in the product image for your selected translation at the time of purchase is the Bible you will receive. Product images may change as we update our offerings, so if you visit the website again at a later date and see a different Bible pictured for the same translation, your order will still include the Bible that was shown when you made your purchase.
